As a U.S. Air Force veteran, father, and business owner, I know Roseville’s best days are ahead. My vision for Roseville as an inclusive, fiscally responsible, economically thriving community is what drives me. A twenty-year resident of Roseville, I managed a $250 million budget as an engineer, manager, and Chamber liaison at Hewlett-Packard, before launching my own technology consulting business.
I live the ideal of service to our community. I created a startup to improve the lives of youth through sports. I’m a board member of the Roseville Police Activities League, Placer Food Bank, Greater-Sacramento NAACP, and MLK 365. I served as president of Kaseberg Elementary PTC, advisor to Eureka Union School District, assistant coach for Johnson Ranch Barracudas swim team, and personnel interviewer for Roseville PD. I was also appointed by the City Council in 2019-20 to serve on the Roseville Charter Review Commission because of my long-term vision and commitment to our community.
I’ll focus on cost effective ways to reduce traffic congestion, develop rapid responses to health issues, partner with law enforcement, strengthen neighborhoods, and create a more transparent city government that puts Roseville residents first. My experience, focus on inclusion, and ability to manage complex issues makes me the best leader in District 1 for our future, and why I am asking you for your support. Please vote LaMills Garrett for Roseville City Council, District 1, on November 3, 2020.
