Our focus should be on areas of the existing city that already have infrastructure before we begin expanding into other parts of Placer County.  Go full throttle on residential and commercial within our boundaries.  We should also do a better job at having retail in place when new residents move to new housing.  Ask me about my vision for mixed-use development.

There is so much charm and character in older Roseville neighborhoods that they are very attractive for renters, homeowners, and small businesses.  My vision is to incorporate more housing in Downtown and to bring more small retail to older sections that don’t have many options close by.  I support a boutique hotel and shops at the old Post Office, and I love what the Placer SPCA has done at their new space.  Generally, I champion a mixed-use approach to these neighborhoods.
